Hello.

I have a math problem for you physicists (or algebra whizzes.)

In trying to get an accurate scratch feel, I want the scratch surface of
the SCS.3d (8 cm) to correspond to that same arc of a 10" (25.5 cm)
diameter record, spinning at 33 1/3 RPM when pitch=0. (Approximately an
Isosceles triangle. http://mathworld.wolfram.com/IsoscelesTriangle.html
 with h=12.75cm (radius) and a=8cm incase you need the angle of arc.)

What I need is a formula that outputs the correct playposition slider
interval (considering the slider has 128 positions, so 127 intervals or
(8/127)cm per interval) for the given track length and pitch. (I'll be
asking about sliding between the two values next, so ideas are welcome
for that too.)
