Cool, thanks for the info, this is the kind of thing that really helps when evaluating these units.
Does anyone know whether the Vestax VCI-100 can be lit up by simple MIDI messages? I have read the manual and it only documents midi going out of the unit (though, it documents that fully and clearly!). At the moment the work and documentation regarding the Total Control (plus the endless rotaries) makes it a fairly easy choice, but the Vestax has _really_nice_ platters/jog wheels :) Thanks Rua HM. ----- Original Message ---- From: Ben Wheeler <[email protected]> To: Rua Haszard Morris <[email protected]> Cc: [email protected] Sent: Friday, 16 January, 2009 2:32:13 AM Subject: Re: [Mixxx-devel] Fw: LED support for various USB MIDI controllers? It's certainly true for the Xponent, because M-Audio refused to release the details on how to control the LEDs without signing an NDA, and my attempts to figure it out by brute force MIDI messages failed to light anything up.
