personaly i'd prefer to have any genuinly usefull feature in a hard to
usebut documented  form than not to have it at all. if i really need it i
can always rtfm.

i wrote some mappings in xml, by modifying one of the existing file, and i'd
never used an xml configuration file before.

provide a good example file and document it and anybody who is reasonably
determined can knock up a configuration file.

aditionaly having a web page where people can share their mappings will mean
that even less people willl need to go through the process of finding out
how to do it. (there are probably less than 30 dj specific controlers on the
market anyway)
