Hi, I hate to disappoint, I would love to see Mixxx on the iPhone. But have you read the comments on the link? More specific this snippet:
"Unfortunately you don't get direct access to the files in the iPod library. You can list them in your app, you can pick any of them (in your app) and you can play them with the default built-in audio player. So no speed/pitch change, no access on the file level still, nothing for DJ apps." I'm a member of the (free) Apple Developer Connection, which gives you access to the current iPhone SDK (iPhone OS 2.2.1). But you have to be a paying member of the iPhone Developer Program to access the new beta API for iPhone OS 3.0, which I'm not (yet). So I can't have a look at the new APIs. But the Apple website says this about the new functionality, so it seems the comment above is right: "iPod Library Access Access music, podcasts, or audio books in a user's iPod library directly from your application using the updated Media Player framework. You can play, repeat and shuffle songs or whole playlists, or create sequences of songs using custom searches." No luck...
