Hi folks, thought I'd jump in here with my thoughts, I would agree mostly with you on this Adam, but possibly leaning more towards the side of "it's just tobacco...". I'm actually more interested in how exactly Mixxx is going to help them sell cigarettes... =p
In my eyes, exposure is exposure, and I'm not sure that it would harm the project if some company used it somehow to advertise their project. The worst someone could assume is that maybe some of our programmers smoke, and maybe don't smell as fresh as they would like... I don't know, really. I'd say what we have to gain is exposure, and if nothing else, that's good enough for an open source project. I understand the arguments against it to an extent, but we aren't selling our souls for tobacco here. Cheers, Zach J.
