It was happening to me on MK2 -- I haven't had a chance to see if this still crashes. Basically, for that bug I tracked it down to PortAudio (made a separate program that just did the appropriate calls into portaudio to trigger the crash). Sean -- can you try installing the latest portaudio trunk to see if this is fixed? When I get the chance I'll test it out on my MK2 as well. RJ Sean M.
