One thing I just got caught on: don't target a bug to a release series until there's a feature-freeze branch for it, otherwise the second status line has no meaning.

See "Series and milestones" at https://launchpad.net/mixxx In a nutshell, we should create a new point release branch whenever new features are introduced to avoid introducing regressions into the stable branch. That way, stable branches are dedicated to bug fixes. (Which can of course be merged forward.)
