On any machine capable of running Win64 well, it would probably be next to
impossible to tell the difference between running a native 64-bit build and
a 32-bit build. I think the toughest problem Mixxx would have to face it
its problem domain would be something like applying real-time SFX on FLAC
audio on 2 decks at once; would access to more RAM or better 64-bit SSE
instructions really make that much diifference to a machine with the horses
to run Win64?

I think Windows needs a BSD style "ports" system; if it had that it might be
worth trying to get all these deps to built for Mixxx on the fly. Given it
doesn't, and that I don't use windows at home or even at work anymore (yay!)
-> I'm not really all that interested in the platform. I'm also inclined
to think that any type of useable or visible change would probably be more
widely noticed by the community at large... I could be wrong (and if there
any Windows 64 or potential Windows 64 users on the list; now is a good time
to shout out) and if its a problem you really want to solve I don't want to
discourage you...
