[Copying the list in case anyone else has input on how the scratch
sound can be improved on the RMX]
Hey LX,
With regards to the scratching, if you think it's slowing down too
slowly or too quickly, you can adjust the speed of the deceleration by
tweaking these values in Hercules-DJ-Console-RMX-scripts.js, which
effect how often 'deceleration' happens and the factor applied each
time:
Line #
17 HerculesRMX.decayInterval = 300;
18 HerculesRMX.decayRate = 1.5;
so if I remember correctly, the default settings are every 300ms, the
"scratch" rate key value is divided by 1.5.
If you find playing with those doesn't particularly help; try to
describe how you think it should sound... (i.e. say something like:
think scratch movements should be more exaggerated; move the track
2.5x further back/forward with each jog move )
Also see if using Vinyl Emulation vs. Pitch Independent Time Stretch
makes any different to how it sounds to you.
Thanks!!!
