There's a really lengthy video with Richie Hawtin describing how he uses
Traktor to DJ. It's safe to say that anything he describes is something
people might be interested in doing.

The highlights are:

* auto-sync
* support for 4 decks
* automatic loops with adjustable duration (1 measure, 1 beat,
16th-note, etc)

One thing he mentions that I think is important is being able to
manually adjust the beat markers. A lot of times the beat detector is
close but a little off, and it would be really helpful to have a mode
where I can really get in there and get it right. I have one track
where the tempo changes, and if I could go in there and tell it what's
going on, it would be a big help. Once the beat markers are placed
exactly, auto-sync becomes as easy as making sure the beat markers line
up.

There are a lot of pro-autosync / anti-autosync arguments online, but I
think it's a feature people expect to have available.
