hi
it gaves me errors, but i think it got nothing to do with
Sebastien files. this is what i did:
on Ubuntu 9.10:
- install mixxx 1.6.1 from repositories.
- compile from sources mixxx 1.7.1 with scons with no
errors.
- didn't remove skins folders like readme said. if i do
it, mixxx won't start.
- copy Sebastien files to /usr/share/mixxx/midi folder,
and remove the old BCD3000 midi file.
- run mixxx 1.7.1 with linux_build/mixxx
- on preferences, active BCD3000 controller and select the
correct MIDI mapping (Sebastian Files) from the drop down selection.
- this error appear on a dialog box:
MidiScriptEngine: Problem opening the script file:
"/usr/share/mixxx/midi/midi-mappings-scripts.js" , error # 5
this is what show terminal:
Debug: [Main]: MidiMapping: Loading & evaluating all
MIDI script code
Critical: [Main]: MidiScriptEngine: Problem opening the
script file: "/usr/share/mixxx/midi/midi-mappings-scripts.js" , error
# 5
if somebody could shows me what i did wrong, i could give
it another try.
