Right now Mixxx uses the Port Audio library for outputting sound. I'm
unaware if Port Audio works with OSS4 but it should.
Mixxx uses and needs a userspace mixing engine for mixing together the
sounds.
It would be necessary to read the code to see if there are any bits we could
borrow from vmix to place them inside of mixxx. Some interesting bits might
be how they actually mix together the sound (if it uses any kind of filter
to do so).
