Hey all. Just wanted to get everyone's opinion on this:
It's my understanding that _all_ sound cards support 48kHz sampling rate, while cheap ones _only_ support 48kHz, and more expensive ones can do 44.1kHz and 96kHz (among others.) In order to avoid a first-time user seeing the "sound card could not be opened" message, I propose changing the default sample rate to 48000Hz. Anyone opposed? Sincerely, Sean M. Pappalardo "D.J.
