That's the point, I repeat: Ubuntu aims to be easy to use and user friendly
as distro. Not anyone using it is able to downgrade a package, and it is not
impossible that downgrading procedure can break something else. If Mixxx
1.8.0 freezes with standard installation users will perceive very poor
quality of the software, and it won't be suitable for dj sets at all. Is it
not anyway possible to fix the problem so that Mixxx can use current distro
packages? Would it require a lot of work?
