I agree, we should do a poll. I'll be glad to participate so we can just
get the ball rolling finally.
To elaborate my position (also to offer some more choices for the poll),
If I were the benevolent dictator of Mixxx (which I'm not, thankfully for
all) I'd dictate the use of github as the main repository area. All code
review would then take place in github. We can easily post comments on the
commits, which will be a huge boon. Also it would make contributing much
easier since all you need is a github account and to fork your own then
submit a pull request.
In the long run I'd use github issues for internal bugs and any bugs that
have been confirmed (that way launchpad remains a good filter for user
posted bugs). I'd definitely wait until the signal to noise ratio is higher
on LP, but the move would allow us to take advantage of the automated
facilities for marking bugs closed, etc...
