Hi Steven,

I can do that once my ideas get a bit more cooked, i.e. once I understand

In those terms Mixxx has an identity problem. Ultra-hip DJs might prefer
commercial competitors because of the leak of Effects and some sampler work
flows. Other rookie jukebox DJs might prefer other free ware applications
over MIxxx because of the leak of cover display and some play list use
cases. The grate unique selling point of Mixxx IMHO is to be a community
driven free open source software, Linux support and the highly flexible
midi interface.

I had recently a discussion with a friend using http://www.digijay.at/. And
compared to Mixxx it is some steps ahead in terms of Jukbox DJs. It was
little frustrating to hear what features are missing in Mixxx for not using
it. In this case it was:
* Library split view
* Auto DJ with Silence detection
* Dedicated wish list
* Notepad function
* cover art

I've never released the code before, but I don't mind releasing it under

Thank you! Do not worry much about user documentation. It was just the
idea, to point us to the relevant parts of play list generation, to have a
better clue to your approach.

Non music midi tracks.

I had recently the idea of non music tracks.

A simple version would be a midi track at the end of the auto DJ queue
which includes the command:
"Load playlist X"

Maybe we can combine these ideas.
