I just tried testing by building PA trunk (retrieved today) then dropping the produced libportaudio.so.2.0.0 in place of the original that was on my system (and that ldd told me Mixxx was looking for.) Is this the correct procedure? I tested with the Mixxx v1.11 branch (r3881 and r3865, the 1.11.0 release tag) The problem did not present when selecting Channel 1 of my mic in Mixxx even on the old version of libPA (from 03/2011.) I selected Channel 2 to get the problem to occur and it did not go away with the newly built lib. I can't test with Audacity because it can't find a symbol (Pa_GetStreamHostApiType) in the new lib so won't run. Sincerely, Sean M. Pappalardo "D.J.
