Hello again. I goofed up my testing. Alan's patch DOES fix the issue:
Testing with Mixxx v1.11 r3865 (the 1.11.0 release revision) using libPA stable (svn2011-11-21) the problem presents when using channel 1 of the mic input. Changing nothing but the libPA.so file to the one built from today's trunk and re-running Mixxx, the sound is clear and correct from the mic input! Thank you very much for everyone's time and help on this! Now we just need to wait until all of the distros pick up the fix. When is the next stable release of PA scheduled? Sincerely, Sean M.
