Hi Udara,

Did you know this?
http://www.mixxx.org/wiki/doku.php/qtcreator?s[]=qt&s[]=creator
If you have the best experience with QtCreator, it is fine to use it. I
personally stick on Eclipse, because it is much nicer in examine unknown
code, while the setup might be harder.
http://www.mixxx.org/wiki/doku.php/eclipse?s[]=eclipse

I think in the long term, we will not continue to maintain a QtProject
file. Maybe we should just remove the qt project file and replace it with a
link to our wiki. What do you think?

Here some infos to the project:

You Ideas are sounding reasonable, but I miss the DJ's view. What do you
personally miss most when working with tracks in Mixxx?

For the track management project, we are not looking just for a copy of
Picrad. We are looking for a way to allow extended use case specific for a
DJ. So please consider all track information in the Mixxx library as meta
data.
Some of our users currently uses Mixxx alongside with a tagging tool and
use the reload meta data option, to sync meta data between the different
apps.
Writing the meta data from Mixxx to the source file is not supported yet.
It is one of my unfinished projects.

Maybe it is also a good idea th browse the bug list or the forums to get an
impression how others think and what is requested.

Please clarify in your proposal:
* When will the user do what with the track meta data and how can your
project help.
* Which tasks must be done in the GUI and Backend
* What are small merge-able steps for your project.

Kind regards,

Daniel
