I'd prefer if the data files were stored in a separate location from the music files; I like my directories uncluttered, as I'm sure many do. Also, I wonder if the data would be nice as a giant blob, a compressed file with various track data (one blob might be easier to port). I'm thinking something along the lines of the messages.dat file in Bitmessage. But just plain folders and files in a structure mirroring the music file directory and file structure would be ok too. Anyway, we could continue this discussion at the above bug maybe.
