A problem for us is that Musicbrains and AcoustID only use the first two minutes of a audio recording. Detecting remixes that leave the original intact for the first two minutes or mixes of different songs can be hard to detect that way. But this is the reason that AcoustID gives us a number of possible matches that we then check on Musicbrainz.
