That means you have to cut 8 pixels each from the left and the right margins before rescaling? That's odd, at least for someone who worked only with NTSC DV (i only do a rescale on the Digital8 streams i'm working with). What is the reason it is preferred to increase the size of the image (from 704 to 768)? The information remains the same after all (notwithstanding the interpolation noise).
