Okay, so this is a little off-topic, but not so off-topic as some discussion here this week. :)
My GLi has the factory Heidelberg radio with the aktiv 6 speaker setup. Some complain about it, but I don't think it's that bad (I'm not a big audiophile) except that the front/dash driver's side speaker doesn't work good. It's either off or real low, unless I turn it up real loud and then it seems to kick in. I swapped the left & right dash speakers so I know it's not that. Sounds like a bad connection or broken wire, right? So, I know the aktiv system has some kinda amp in the door. I removed the speaker grill and a couple screws in there, but nothing came out. Do I need to remove the whole door panel to get to this? If so, that brings up another question: While I've got the panel off, my driver's side power mirror quit working. The right one works, but the left one doesn't do anything. Is this likely to be a connection problem too, or do the motors go bad? How do I get the mirror out to check the motor?
