Hi Denis, In my euro 16V Golf Betriebsainleitung F5DTC plugs are specified. Catalogs list F6DTC, they are the same as CIS-E. I could not find F5DTC anywhere in shops though...
More qs: I need F5DTC because of leaded fuel I'm running? Why the hell inspection checks engine emissions at 2500 rpms? Factory specification meets requirements at idle. They could not know back then that emission requirements may change! So, if the car meets factory specified idle emissions requirements, then they should let you pass! But I guess its useless to fight with inspection... -Nils 86 Golf GTI 16V- leaded fuel, no cat, and passing (so far). 89 Rallye- cat. ----- Original Message ----- From: Denis Paul Goldman <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, January 22, 2000 9:26 AM Subject: Spark Plug ? and Inspection info FYI > This has been beaten to DEATH already, but I am using the list for what it > is for...a quick answer. > Question: What are the best spark plugs to use on my 1.8l 16v?
