Uh, no. That was the Mazda 323 GTX AWD that the "contender", Rob, was

No, the Mazda had some black trim and was shown a lot. The
car mentioned (w/ the flag on the antenna) was monochromatic white,
and I only saw it once in in a fairly brief shot. It looked like an
A3 to me, but it it could've been an A2 with a painted spoiler and
blacked out taillights. I'd have to see it again to be sure, but I'm
positive it was a VW Golf/GTI. I believe there was also another scene
where the Mazda was shown with a flag held out of the sunroof, or
something like that, maybe the source of the confusion. BTW, Rob is
arrogant shithead; I laughed my ass off when he blew the RX-7's
motor on the dyno and then got spanked by the Civic!
