Yeah, but for $60k, 12.1s is not that fast. Drag racing is not my thing, but I'm sure you could run sub-12 seconds a hell of a of cheaper by picking up an old 5.0 and throwing some money at it. I just don't understand why people drag small displacement FWD 'imports'; in a straight line I'll take RWD and a big motor anyday. I might be preaching to the choir here, but IMO, it's a hell of a lot more fun to set the car up to handle properly, and in that sense, it can be a great bargain, not a fight against the laws of physics! But it takes driving skill to extract the performance, not just a heavy right foot.
