i dont wish i were able to do that though. if you wish you could work metal that way, then good for you. if you think im being a total dick, say it. (i can handle it, really.) like i said before, you gotta be true to yourself and stand up for what you believe. > So you are saying that it doesn't matter if someone puts a 'top > notch' effort into their work? sorta. im saying it doesnt matter to *me* if someone puts a top notch effort into something i think is a waste of time/money. i dont follow the "if you dont ahve something nice to say, dont say anything at all mentality" cause its stupid. we all have opinions about everthing. we all think some things suck. if nobody ever bitched or complained, there would be alot of shitty things in this world. whining, on the other hand...i cant stand whining. (and im not implying that you are, if thats the way it sounds...i just hate whiners) > You don't have the *ability to appreciate > something different. i think we're jumping to conclusions here a little bit. > You can call others' responses "fake praise" all > you want i think you totally missed my point. any praise i would have given it would have been "fake". you know, when somebody doews something REALLY ugly to their car, but you dont have the heart to tell them it is absolutely hideous? we all do it. i just make a concious effort to do it alot less than most people. i would be hard pressed to find anything good about that car because i see things as a whole. i couldnt look at [whatever] on the car, and not notice that the rest of the car looked like ass. BTW, was this car all looks, or did it at least have the go to back up the show? ben randolph 92 16v gti (looks like a 92 16v gti.) _____________ List Sponsor: http://www.netsville.com To remove yourself from this list, send mail to [email protected] with 'unsubscribe a2_16v' in the body of your message See us on the web at http://www.a2-16v.com Visit the 16V Homepage at http://www.gti16v.org
