ill put my two cents in for the 195's, with your wheels. they are only
6" wide, and the 205's will be too big...too much of the balloning
effect. too squirrley on the turns.

course, stretching a tire is just as bad...too tight on turns...i had a
set of 15x7 moda's and then a set of 15x6.5 stock gti wheels, and 195/50
8000's on both. the thinner wheels handled better and were more
forgiving.

FYI, i had those tires and SP8000's back to back on the same wheels on
the same day. hands down, the 8000's take the cake home. poor weather
driving differences are unnoticible (if there are any) but i dont push
it in the rain.

we all know about those tires and snow, of course...

unless you spend close to twice the money, you will NOT find a better
dry handling street tire than an SP8000. (except mabey those DOT race
tires, but i dunno how much they cost.)

if you wanna spend the money, im sold on michelin pilots. better dry
than the 8000's (had them back to back on my car, but with different
wheels) and they last longer too. (the guy with the pilots said he gets
40k out of em. i can only muster about 20k out of 8000's....with an
occasional autrocross, of course)

> I like the lower look of the 195 better personally.

remember: function before form....function before form....
