I pulled my Jetta down from approximately 80mph(racing a SLOW A4 8V GTI) with no problems at all. I outbraked him, because he went into the intersection. I stopped with my front bumper over the big white line. This was with 2 passnegers, all of the shit in my trunk(probably upwards of 150lbs), and about another 120lbs worth of luggage(I had just picked a friend up from the airport). My GTI, with just me, and noting else in it, would have gone shooting through that intersection with the 9.4" fronts. I was very impressed. My friend(who is not into all of the car stuff...he drives an Escort) was petrified. I can't wait to see what happens when I slap the 11" brakes on this thing... -Dave '91 GTX 16V _____________ List Sponsor: http://www.netsville.com To remove yourself from this list, send mail to [email protected] with 'unsubscribe a2_16v' in the body of your message See us on the web at http://www.a2-16v.com Visit the 16V Homepage at http://www.gti16v.org
