I know my flexjoint is broken because if you put your hand up to it you
can feel the exhaust comming out of it. Also, most of the noise come from
that area. I don't get any rattling at all. My car sounds like a chopper
at idle. Your problem sounds a lot like the catalytic converter. It falls
apart and little pieces rattle around inside the cat. Does it sound like
there are a few small pebbles rattling around in a coffee can? If so, I
bet it is your cat. I solved the same problem when I installed my TT free
flow exhaust. All the chunks just flew out the back. If you want to see a
