Would you agree w/ one of the styling analysis in EC concerning
the 996 headlites that described them looking like,
and I paraphrase, "runny sunny side up eggs".
I thought that was just perfect. I hate runny eggs :-).
I've also heard/read rumors that they're going back to
911/993 style headlites in the near future...
Another gripe about those headlites: from the opposite direction,
it's damn near impossible to tell a Boxster from a convertible 996.
I can't stand not knowing which is which w/out turning my
head to verify when they go by :-). Not that I particularly
care for those cars; in general I prefer hardtops...

Well, I know that I would take all those S cars and the TT off from
Audi. The new noses on those are so friggin ugly from a side view... TT,
S's yuck!!! The rear ends aren't very easy on the eyes either. I do like
the A4 and 3's though (except for the new A4
body they are coming out with). I think that the new Ford hard edge
Mustangs and the new Audi's have a LOT in common with each other, from a
styling point of view. The new 911 Turbo is so damn sweet even with the
"almost squished to nothing" light tunnels,
and the front is aggressive again. Well, maybe that's just me and my
ultra critial Industrial design background...
