Josh,
i know you weren't trying to sell me one. My wife and I come to Portland quite often, but we usually drive her car. If I drive mine down, how much would you charge me to put it in and how long would it take? How's business been? BTW now it's not making the high frequency vibrating noise at high rpm, I just took it out to my favorite road and beat the hell out of it- no problems, it just asked for more. I love the way it revs now. Just flying through these 25-30mph corners leaving it in 3rd above 6000rpms the whole way!

Fred:
I wasn't trying to steer you towards a turbo just pointing out that our
frustration with the performance ceilings of streetable motors pushed us
into forced induction. I would certainly recommend having everything sorted
out before adding anything else. On the defroster I would guess there is a
pretty decent drain coming off of it... maybe a short. Does the defroster
work? We use VDO EGT gauges. You just need to tap a hole in the exhaust
manifold for it and mount the gauge. They run $147, pricey but they work. We
use them A LOT. Best of luck
