I've never stalled it coming to a stop. Is something else wrong? I stalled
it a few times starting, right after it was put in. That could also have
been from the CenterForce dual-fric. clutch.

How many times have you stalled the motor when coming to a stop? : )
I just put one in myself (7 lbs 6.5 oz, down from a little less than 11
lbs).
I'm
pretty happy with it overall, but having to restart can be a little
annoying...
