I want to change my rear crankshaft seal. Everything is off, inluding the
tranny, flywheel, pressure plate etc. I have a few questions. First off,
I noticed that there is a metal bracket around the crankshaft seal. Do
you need to remove this braket? Also, should I have a seal puller to
remove the seal? Finally, what precautions should I use while
installing/removing the seal. TIA!
