I've been thinking. I have tried twice in five years to successfully fix my headliner. I used the correct adhesives, and did everything right. Now I am right back where I started. So, I think I am going to go another route. I am considering going to a fabric shop, and picking out a couple of yards of a nice fabric. Black with speckles doesn't matter anymore, plain black would be fine, as would a black with red speckles etc. I figure I would be safe and get 2 yds wide by about 3 or 4 yards deep. The benefit to using a fresh uncut sheet of fabic would be that you won't have to worry about centering the fabric on the shell. Which means the fabric will cover the shell no matter what. And you don't have to worry about using delicate glues, you can probably get away with any low-shrinkage spray adhesive. Punching the appropriate holes (sunroof, oh shit handles) shouldn't be too much of a problem either.
That's my new project for now...I think I will be stopping at Rag Shop on the way home from work tonight.
