DPR.  It normally fails in "limp home" mode, which is wide open.  Yours is 
doing what mine did to me....failing shut.  Thing of it is, when mine dies, 
the car tried to drive itself.  Idled all kinds of screwed up, and wouldn't 
engine brake.  Instead of slowing down, it revved itself to 4K rpm, and took 
off for about 2 seconds.  Pretty scary in traffic, let me tell you.  Try 
disconnecting it -before- starting the car, and driving it like that.  If you 
make it past your normal point of failure, you have your answer.  You may 
want to test the o2 sensor as well, as it's signal comtrols the DPR.
