I feel your cooling system pain. Since I have owned my GTI (5 years) I have replaced the radiator 3 times, one water pump replacement, and a variety of blown hoses. And now the car is in for more leaks and it was just in last month for leaks too. This one better be on warranty!

I've had the water pump housing com apart twice, finaly lock tighted the
bolts in after re drilling the block. Had two hoses go, and this is in about
a 8 month span. Now the coolant light is on, the resivior has a normal
amount of coolant in it and it didn't leave any marks over night. Wheres
the coolant level sensor? It better be the fing sensor, I'm moving in 4
days and don't have time to change the oil.
