Alright guys, I'm thinking about parting out my 88 GTI. It's probably fixable, but I really don't have the time or the money to undergo the project right now. If there's enough interest I'll part it out. If not I'll probably sell it to someone who wants to fix it. I just don't want to sell one door and have the rest of it sitting here forever. Here's the details:
1988 GTI 16V- Tornado Red- 150k w/ head rebuilt 10k ago -burns no oil and runs great -everything is there except the drivers side fender, hood, and I've already sold the bumpers and the seats -so basically what remains is the engine, tranny, ecu, doors, hatch, dash, interior panels, and the tail lights along with all the little stuff like wipers and such - All the stuff is in great shape. Anybody interested? BTW, I'm located in Dallas but I can ship anywhere.
