Taking my 88 GTi 16v to have the wheel bearings and brakes done. Crawled
under the car last night to check out if anything else might need replacing
and noticed that the driver's side tie-rod end was leaking.
Looked through Bentely and it said that the tie-rod ends are not sold
separately and are sold as a complete unit. It also looked like changing
the entire tie-rod was very involved.
1. Is there anything else I should have replaced while everything is apart?
