I am rebuilding a pair of struts for my 91 GTI 16V with new springs and
strut inserts. The strut housings were pretty rusty but my brother bead
blasted all the rust off. My question is what should I use to repaint the
strut housings? Normal spray paint or rustoleum? They have this stuff at
the auto store called Undercoating in a Can, maybe put it everywhere except
where the bolts go?
