The simple answer is email Neuspeed @ [email protected] There are 3
different Nospeed upper strut tie bars for A2 Golf-Jetta (all different from
the Passat ones) depending on manufacture year and number of valves. And
there is probably very few people that have been able to test all the
possible combinations.
I know the later ones 90-92 fit 8v and 16v cars but don't know if an 1.816v
fits a 2.0 one.

Ok, so I know squat about strut bars. What I've learned so far... a bar
from a B3 Passat will not fit an A2.
A lister emailed me and said that he had a Neuspeed bar for sale (thanks
Yippers). The only question on this bar is that it is for a 1.8l 16v. Will
this bar fit a 2.0l Motronic 16v??
Pretty simple question.
