Just order the parts from mike potter, www.parts4vws.com.  You need a new
hose, the threaded fitting that is the right length to eliminate the stock
cooler, and a plug to go over the extra fitting on the metal coolant
return pipe.  He has all the stuff in stock, and will know just what
you want when you call.
