Velocity's lightened flywheel is 8.5 lbs, and a stock hovers around 11 or so. I'd take off a maximum of 3 lbs. It's more than enough, too... even though I've been driving manual tranny cars for about 6 years now I still stall the GTI every now and then. It's SO worth it though... even if it didn't make your car noticeably faster (butt dyno says slight improvement) it's still a great mod.
