Yes, or you can go for the "piece of cardboard" mod.  In the winter, just
put a piece of cardboard in front of the oil cooler to keep it from
getting as much air.  Definitely cheaper than a thermostatic plate. :)
Plus, most oil coolers aren't efficient enough to actually have that
problem- you'd have to go for the biggest one eurosport sells, or maybe
even bigger.
