I did this two years ago. I didn't think it was a big deal. I never knew
'they said it couldn't be done'. I removed the green filter completely. I
have a little red 'bulb condom' over the bulb behind the MFA. I also
changed the factory stereo to red. They both look stock (radio is no more
though).
