Now this sounds interesting.  How much work would it
be to wire up an A3 Motronic setup on a non central
electric A2 16v CIS-E?  I think the two hardest things
would be to get the proper chip made by garrett for
the 16v, as well as getting that fuel rail made.  Then
you'd have OBD capabilities (which could be a good
thing, and a bad thing), and the whole swap wouldn't
cost much as parts for A3 8v's are a dime a dozen. 
Hmm...
