I just picked up a nice set on eBay (for $222.50!), and have a few questions that maybe someone can help me out with....
1) How wide are these? 15 x 6.5? 2) The A2 15" BBS are the same for both the GTI and GLI, right? 3) O.E. was 195/55-15's (on the GTI model) and 185/55-15's (on the GLi model). What size can I run? Right now on my teardrops I have 195/55-14's. Before I changed my speedo with the 160mph scirocco unit, my mph was DEAD ON. Verified with a handheld GPS. Now, its too optimistic (5mph @ 40, 7 @ 60, 10 @ 90). Before I play around with speedo gears, I want to get some tires first. Does anyone run 205/50? Any rubbing? Don't some people run 225/45? 4) How heavy are these? I am hoping that they will be as heavy or lighter (just a bit) than my teardrops. Thanks for any info.
