They may be trendy in your neck of the woods, but around here it is a rare
sight to see a stock 16V, let alone a modified one.  And for the most part,
those few modded ones I've seen have been done tastefully.

  Trendy is OK with me as long as it is trendy and tasteful.  It's when they
become heavily trendy and rice that I'll think about selling.

  Remember, trends fade and when the A2 one does, we will still be
enthusiasts long after the "trendsetters" have moved on to another mark.

trust me you're gaining anything but a headache by going to the vortex.  It
used to be excellent but as of late has been really spam filled.  I want to
note that haing been a vortec member since way back when it pains me to say
this but it is an expected thing due to its membership.... well in excess of
30,000 now, over half of the nationwide SCCA membership!!!

face it guys, our beloved cars ARE trendy...
