The Badger 5 system is an individual throttle body unit. Basically it's carbs but with injectors. Very tunable and has the potential to make lots of power. Just the throttle bodies should run around $900 (Drew, how much were yours?), but then you'll need injectors, a fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator and an aftermarket engine management system to set it up correctly. After all is said and done it weighs in pretty heavily on the pocketbook.
I believe TWM has more information than the Badger 5 site, check it out: http://www.twminduction.com HTH Jim Weinheimer [email protected] 85 2.0L 16v GTI 85 Golf >i was online surfin the web and i ran in to a baddger 5 page sound >interesting can ne tell me a little about it how much? how hard is it to >install??? is it worth it?? >_____________ >List Sponsor: http://www.netsville.com >To remove yourself from this list, send mail to [email protected] with 'unsubscribe a2_16v' in the body of your message >See us on the web at http://www.a2-16v.com >Visit the 16V Homepage at http://www.gti16v.org > > _____________ List Sponsor: http://www.netsville.com To remove yourself from this list, send mail to [email protected] with 'unsubscribe a2_16v' in the body of your message See us on the web at http://www.a2-16v.com Visit the 16V Homepage at http://www.gti16v.org
