Hey guys, I'm planning on rewiring and relaying the headlights on my 91 Jetta GTX. I was checking out http://lighting.mbz.org. Does anyone know what each headlight wire does and the wire color? Any recomendations on relays (how many, brand and rating)? I'm planning on using 8 or 10 gauge wire (overkill!). Did you run any fuses?
Here is the thing... Right now I have stock DOT Areo lights, in the future I want to easlily be able to upgrade to Quad round running 80w/100w(or possibly swap back and forth between Quad and dual rounds) setup without completely rewiring the system. Any recomendations? Everyone wants to run H4s with big bulbs and this cooks the factory dimmer $witch. I made up a little kit for myself and when other people saw it, they wanted one too. Even though my instructions are written for a 911/930, I could rewrite them for an A2 and maybe it would make it easier for you guys to wire relays in.
